About Cookies
A 'cookie' is a file in your web browser that enables us to recognize your computer when you visit the site.
The tool is used by many Web sites to help collect information, such as how many people visit and return to the site, what products are being bought, and to make certain parts of the site function properly.
Like other retailers we use 'cookies' to allow us to fill in our login fields with your e-mail address, once you have registered. This is to enable customers to login to our site more quickly and easily when you make future visits to www.diabetic-care.com.
If you are using another person's computer to login to our site (e.g. in an internet cafe or a colleagues computer at work) then it's possible your e-mail address will display in the login field to a subsequent user of our site. We therefore advise customers to clear 'cookies' stored by the web browser when using another person's computer in order to prevent this from happening. The option to do this is normally found within the Tools dropdown menu at the top of the browser window.
If you have "disabled" the cookies file in your browser, you may experience technical problems with some parts of the site. (For example products you have placed in your basket may be lost.)
Ordering Online
Ordering online using your credit card details is just as safe as ordering goods over the telephone, if not more so. Diabetic-care.com has been issued with e-commerce Payment Service by Mashreq Bank.
The Cardholder is directed to use a secure communication session (3D secure) from your browser directly to MashreqBank page to enter the card details at the payment time. In this environment the card details are not disclosed to the merchant at any time and the Bank takes responsibility for storing and protecting the card details
Use of Email
If you have registered and hold an account, we may use e-mail to contact you where, for example, we are unable to process an order or when we are unable to contact you directly by phone. Therefore please ensure that you maintain adequate password control over access to your e-mail account.
